A Rainy Day
A rainy day is a day when it rains all day
long.
The sky is overcast with black thick clouds.
The (blue sky) sun is not seen
on such a day.
No one can go out without an umbrella.
Those who have office or business go out with an umbrella over their head, shoes in
hand and clothes folded up to knees.
Passers-by also move in the same way.
When it rains cats and dogs (in torrents) people get drenched and stop midway.
On such a day, rich people enjoy a lot.
By sitting sofa they enjoy music.
Some students also enjoy this
day.
On the other hand, (On the contrary) poor people suffer much.
The labours can
not go out for work.
They can not earn money for their livelihood.
The cattle also
suffer a lot on a rainy day.
A rainy day is not
pleasant to all.
It varies from
man to man.
